 TiC-based steel-bonded cemented carbide is a steel-based composite material prepared by powder metallurgy with steel as the binder and hard compounds as the hard phase. The structure is characterized by the uniform distribution of hard and wear-resistant hard phases in the steel matrix. The steel matrix gives the alloy a wide range of process characteristics, while the hard phase greatly improves the hardness and wear resistance of the alloy.
