1. Technical principles and characteristics
TD coating processing technology principle is put the prefabricated workpiece into borax molten salt mixture, metal carbide coating layer is formed by diffusion in the surface, which may be vanadium carbide coating at a temperature of 850 ~ 1050 ℃, niobium and chromium carbide may also be its composite carbide. (2) Due to the surface coating layer is formed by diffusion of metal atoms, thus the coating and the substrate having a metallurgical bonding, binding force is harder than the chrome plating and is much higher than PVD or PCVD coating, It is extremely important in applying to the forming Mold .

(3) TD coating thickness can up to 4 ~ 20mm,  the coating is compact and smooth.

(4) It has high corrosion resistance.

(5)it  can be achieve repeats processing . 

2. The scope and application materials of TD coating process.

(1).The problem  of sticking and strain between mold and the workpiece or the workpiece and the workpiece caused by the adhesive wear , such as various types of steel or non-ferrous metals drawing, bending, flanging, roll forming and die casting molds etc. or other surface contact with each other and there is relative motion, using TD coating process is currently one of the best ways to solve such problems, and it can improve its service life several times to several times.

(2) The problems of workpiece size differences caused by abrasive wear, adhesive wear, friction oxidation or interaction ultra , such as blanking, cold forging and powder metallurgy molds or other part.
